It concerned me when Den turned down the invitation to go to the BYU -Virginia game with Justin and Carsten. He said he wanted to spend time with me. I knew his symptoms were returning and increasing and I was worried he wasn't telling me the worst of it. He gets very uncomfortable when he eats and he can't burp. I talked him into all four of us going. We went to Little America for breakfast and especially for their bran muffins. Dennis can't eat much and we shared a meal. On the way to Provo, he tried to burp and puked instead. We bought a BYU t-shirt for him at the book store and put his soiled shirt in the bag.

At the stadium, Justin found a shady place for Dennis to rest while we waited for game time. He seemed  to have fun and it was another memory for Justin. I'm glad justin has such a good friend in Carsten in pharmacy school. Five Guys for dinner (it brings Dennis memories of chemo sickness, but he knows Justin loves to eat there). Justin drove home so Dennis could elevate his legs.

Over the next two weeks, Dennis had good days and a few bad days. He had a few episodes of serious pain when he ate. He didn't know if it was illness  or what he ate or the cancer. His new oncologist ordered another CT test. Dennis wasn't happy that he was getting contrast in every possible way.

After the CT he went home and slept for several hours. He said he doesn't want another test until he has a crisis.

The results were good. The only things that changed was more stomach involvement and a thin pocket of ascites. It took Dennis two days to recuperate from the test. It didn't explain some of his symptoms.

Linne, Thor and family and Josh came to visit. Dennis was happy to see them and commented how good Thor & Josh have turned out. Dennis loves Linne dearly.
